This Privacy Policy describes how Zesmack ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the Meesho AI Shipping Optimizer Chrome extension (the "Extension") and the services at tool.zesmack.com (the "Service"). By installing or using the Extension you agree to this Policy.

1. Who We Are

Zesmack is the operator of the Extension and the backend services it connects to. If you have any questions about this Policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].

2. What the Extension Does

• AI Image Creator — generates product images using AI via our backend API.
• Bulk Image Upload — uploads multiple catalog images to your Meesho Supplier Panel in one click.
• Auto Shipping Scanner — scans Meesho for shipping rates after images are created.
• Top 10 Lowest Shipping Rates — shows the 10 cheapest options and lets you apply any with one click.
• Public / Community Shipping Rates — the top 10 lowest rates are shared publicly in anonymized form so that any seller can view and apply them.
• License & Credits — a single license can be used across any number of devices and Meesho accounts; usage is metered purely by credits.

We do NOT collect: browsing history, passwords, bank/card details, Meesho account credentials, or any data from sites other than supplier.meesho.com.

4. AI Image Generation

When you use the AI Image Creator, the source image and prompt you supply are sent to our backend API for processing. Outputs are stored only as long as needed to deliver the job (typically up to 3 days) and are then deleted. We do not use your source images to train third-party AI models without your consent.

5. Public Sharing of Shipping Rates

As a core feature of the Service, the top 10 lowest shipping rates discovered by the Auto Shipping Scanner are shared publicly within the Extension so that any seller in our community can view and apply them.

This shared data is anonymized: it contains only the weight bucket, dimensions bucket, origin/destination pincode band, the shipping rate, and a timestamp. It does not include your license key, your name, your email, your Meesho store name, your product title, your SKU, your images, or any other information that can identify you or your store.

By using the Extension you agree that these anonymized rate data points may be shared with the community indefinitely.

6. How We Use the Information

• To authenticate you and meter credit usage across your installs.
• To deliver Extension features (AI image generation, bulk upload, shipping scan).
• To bill credits and process payments via Cashfree.
• To maintain the public community shipping rates database.
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
• To provide support when you email us at [email protected].

7. Third-Party Services

• Meesho Supplier Panel (supplier.meesho.com) — your images and catalog requests are sent to Meesho's own API on your behalf using your Meesho session.
• Cashfree Payments — handles all payments (UPI, cards). We never see or store your card or UPI credentials.
• Our AI backend — operated by Zesmack at tool.zesmack.com; used solely to generate your requested images.

8. Extension Permissions

• storage — to save your license key, machine ID, and preferences locally in Chrome.
• activeTab — to interact with the Meesho Supplier Panel tab you have open.
• host_permissions — limited to supplier.meesho.com and our own API domain.

9. Data Retention

• Uploaded source images and AI-generated output: deleted within 3 days after the job completes.
• Job metadata and credit ledger: retained for accounting and audit purposes.
• Anonymized community shipping rates: retained indefinitely.
• Account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward.

10. Your Rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Export your account data.
• Withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the Extension and emailing [email protected].

11. Data Security

We use HTTPS for all transport, encrypt sensitive fields at rest, and restrict production database access. No system is 100% secure; you should protect your own license key since anyone with it can consume your credits.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

13. International Users & GDPR

The Service is primarily operated for users in India but is available globally. If you are in the EEA or UK, we process your data on the legal basis of contract performance and legitimate interest. You may contact us to exercise GDPR rights.

14. Chrome Web Store Policy

We comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The Extension does not request OAuth access to Google APIs and does not read data from Google user accounts. Any future use of Google APIs would adhere to the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Extension or by email.
