1. Who We Are

Zesmack is an independent company — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meesho. We build the Meesho AI Shipping Optimizer, a Chrome extension and web platform that helps Meesho suppliers create product images, scan shipping rates, and manage catalogs more efficiently.

2. What the Extension Does

• AI-powered product image generation (backgrounds, borders, variations)
• Bulk image uploads to Meesho Supplier Panel
• Automatic shipping rate scanning across product variations
• Display of 10 cheapest shipping options
• Public community shipping rates (anonymized)
• License and credit-based usage metering

We do NOT collect: browsing history, passwords, bank/card details, Meesho account credentials, or any data from sites other than supplier.meesho.com.

4. AI Image Generation

Source images and prompts are sent to our backend API for processing. Outputs are retained only as long as needed (typically 3 days maximum) before automatic deletion. We do not use your source images to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

5. Community Shipping Rates

The top 10 lowest shipping rates discovered by any user are shared anonymously within the extension community. Shared data contains only: weight bucket, dimensions, pincode band, rate, and timestamp.

Never shared: license key, name, email, store name, product titles, SKUs, or images.

6. How We Use Your Data

7. Third-Party Services & Tracking

We share limited data with the processors below so the service can function. We do not sell your data, and we never share your license key, uploaded images, product titles or SKUs with any advertising platform.

• Meesho Supplier Panel: Receives images/requests via your own browser session
• Razorpay: Processes payments — we never access your card or UPI credentials
• Google Gemini (Google LLC): Generates AI product images from the photo you upload. Images are sent for generation only.
• Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC): Website usage analytics — pages viewed, approximate city-level location, device and browser type, and whether you registered or purchased. Not loaded inside the extension, and not loaded on admin pages.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): Measures how well our advertising performs on Facebook and Instagram — which ad brought you to the site, and whether you then registered or purchased. We do not send your email address or phone number to Meta.
• Cloudflare: Content delivery, DDoS protection and bot filtering. Processes your IP address in order to serve and secure the site.
• Zesmack AI backend: Generates requested images only

Cookies and advertising identifiers

Our website sets the following. The extension itself sets none of these.

• Essential: your login session and anti-forgery token. These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
• Attribution: if you arrive from an advertisement we store the click identifier (Google gclid or Meta fbclid) and any campaign tag in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days, so we can tell which campaign a customer came from. It holds no personal information.
• Analytics and advertising: set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel described above.

You can clear or block these in your browser settings. The site will continue to work normally; we simply will not be able to attribute your visit.

8. Extension Permissions

• Storage: Local license key, machine ID, preferences
• ActiveTab: Interaction with the open Meesho Supplier Panel tab
• Host permissions: Limited to supplier.meesho.com and Zesmack API domain

9. Data Retention

• Source/generated images: Deleted within 3 days after job completion
• Job metadata and credits: Retained for accounting and audit purposes
• Community shipping rates: Retained indefinitely (anonymized)
• Account data: Retained during active status plus a reasonable period after

10. Your Rights

You may:

• Access personal data held by Zesmack
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated personal data
• Export your account data
• Withdraw consent by uninstalling the extension and emailing us

11. Security

We use HTTPS for all transport, encrypt sensitive fields at rest, and restrict database access. No system is 100% secure — you should protect your own license key and not share it with others.

12. Children's Privacy

Our service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

13. International, GDPR and India's DPDP Act

Our service primarily serves India but operates globally.

India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Zesmack acts as a Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. We collect it to provide the service you signed up for and to measure our own advertising. You may withdraw consent to analytics and advertising at any time by blocking those cookies in your browser or by writing to us, and you may ask us to correct or erase your account data — see Section 10. Withdrawing consent does not affect your ability to use the tool.

EEA / UK. Data is processed on the basis of contract performance and legitimate interest. GDPR rights are available upon request — contact us at [email protected].

14. Chrome Web Store Compliance

We adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy including Limited Use requirements. We do not use OAuth access to Google APIs. Any future Google API usage will comply with applicable data policies.

15. Policy Updates

Material changes to this policy will be communicated via the extension or email notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
